This policy explains what information SuitesByHeadPoets ("we," "us") collects through our booking website and text messaging service, and how we use it.
When you create an account, book an appointment, or check in as a walk-in, we collect your name, mobile phone number, and appointment details (barber, service, date/time, and any notes you provide). If you create an account, we may also collect an email address if you choose to provide one.
We use your phone number to reach you about your appointments and, if you request one, to send a one-time verification or password-reset code. If you check in as a walk-in, we send you one text once a barber claims you, with their name and booth number. If you opt in to appointment texts, we use it to send booking confirmations, day-before reminders, and appointment change or decline notices. We do not use your information for anything beyond operating the booking and messaging features of this site.
Text messaging consent is collected directly on this website through a dedicated, unchecked-by-default opt-in checkbox on the account sign-up form. Checking it is optional — you can create an account and book without opting in — and it is not bundled into any other agreement. The message type, frequency, "Msg & data rates may apply," and opt-out disclosures are shown directly next to the checkbox. By checking it you agree to receive text messages from SuitesByHeadPoets about your appointments (booking confirmations, day-before reminders, and appointment change or decline notices), typically 2–5 messages per appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. One-time verification and password-reset codes, and the single "your barber is ready" text after a walk-in check-in, are sent in direct response to your request, whether or not you have opted in.
SuitesByHeadPoets does not sell, rent, lease, share, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number, your SMS opt-in, or any consumer consent information to any third parties or affiliates for any purpose. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties or affiliates under any circumstances, including for lead generation, affiliate marketing, or promotional purposes.
The only party your mobile number is disclosed to is our SMS delivery provider, Twilio, and only for the sole purpose of transmitting the appointment and account messages you have requested. Twilio acts as our service provider and does not use your number for its own purposes.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services and comply with legal obligations.
You can update or remove your information by contacting the shop directly, or by using the account management tools on this site. You can stop receiving texts at any time by replying STOP.
